Motorcycle Parts UK is a rider‑led business built from a genuine obsession with motorcycles.
Founder Andrew Hackett grew up in a world of engines and aluminium. His dad was an engineer, his grandad loved motorbikes and worked as an aircraft fitter, and there were always tools, parts and bikes being tinkered with. From the start, two wheels were just part of everyday life.
As kids, Andrew and his brother Jeremy spent their weekends riding trials to a strong club level, travelling around the North West and dipping into national events. Those early years taught them balance, bike control and what it takes to keep machines working in real conditions, not just on a spec sheet.
In the early 2000s, a chance trip to watch an enduro event changed everything. They bought bikes, turned up late to their first race as complete novices and finished inside the top 20. Within a few months they’d moved up to Clubman, winning outright, and from there Andrew progressed through:
- Northern England championships
- Multiple British Enduro Championship rounds
- North of England Hare and Hounds Scramble Champion
- Second place in “The Tough One” (2010)
- A place in the final of the first FIM World Indoor Enduro round at Sheffield Arena
- Countless top‑30 finishes at the Weston Beach Race
Years of hard riding eventually caught up with his knees and the enduro career had to slow down. After surgery and recovery around the time of lockdown, Andrew went full circle back to trials, now riding in the over‑40 classes and once again aiming for podium finishes and events like the Manx Two Day Trial.
All of that experience – from club events to national and international level – now feeds directly into what the business does: supplying great‑quality parts and gear for real riders.
This isn’t a showroom dreamed up in a boardroom. It’s a family business run by someone who still rides: trials, enduro, MX, adventure and road. Every product we stock is chosen from a rider’s point of view – how it feels, how it performs when you’re tired, cold, muddy and pushing on, and whether it stands up to proper use.

Andrew still spends his own time on passion projects – building and restoring bikes for himself, trialling different setups and seeing what survives a hard tried and tested. Those builds and repairs are a hobby, but they keep us honest: we only recommend and supply kit we’d be happy to bolt onto our own bikes and wear ourselves.
Whether you ride trials, enduro, MX, adventure or road, the focus is simple: good‑quality parts and gear that work where it matters – out on the course, lane or trail – selected by people who actually ride.
